This is a simulation to use remaining scratch-building materials to raise a completely imaginary fleet, somewhat using historical plans, but also building ships that never were in existence.
Coastline: Long, with Island Territories
Industry: Weak
Economy: Stagnating
Political Stability: Strong
Political Support for Naval Improvement: Weak
Budget: Low
Need for Naval Expansion: High
Allies with: Jackewline, Methorai, Ancient Klagimirya, Muajbar, Siqladmat
Allies by proxy with: Ren, Dorrosean, Esqerin
Neutral towards: Nordsbur, Friegland, Kisoba, Cartelucia

Adversary by proxy towards: Island Kingdoms, Veuden, Kiester, Londion, Hvaningensteln
Possible enemies during a war: Island Kingdoms (high risk), Asansmat (medium risk), Kiester, Londion, Hvaningensteln (low risk)

Strategical goals: Building a strong enough fleet to deter Island Kingdoms advance on Klagimir territory; Building a strong enough intervention force to prevent Asansmati raiders from attacking Klagimir domestic & international commerce.
Currently this means increasing the number of ships & production efficiency; older units must stay in service as long as possible, even at a huge disadvantage towards more modern units.
Currently this means increasing the number of ships & production efficiency; older units must stay in service as long as possible, even at a huge disadvantage towards more modern units.
Possible sources of warships: Foreign purchase of older ships, domestic industry using foreign plans; a large amount of jeune école doctrine (PT boats, destroyers, commerce raiders).
Initial technology level: It has been a while since the Klagech last fought a decisive naval engagement against any opponent. The Methorai-Klagech Shoreline War was a small conflict sparked by pirates of both nations raiding commerce out of a small group of islands south of the Cape of Methorai. It was mostly a cold war scenario, where both fleets kept an eye on each other, but did not come to blows. In the end, an armistice was called for, and a combined squadron destroyed the pirates' lair.
The Klagimiryian Republic is aware of advancements in naval technology, and also of the fact that nations with a larger industrial capacity are rushing the construction of their capital ships, preparing for a conflict the likes of which had never been seen. However, the Navy's budget does not allow such advancements.
